On September 21, 2022, the 9th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievement Exchange, hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was held in Beijing. Senior national leaders—including You Quan, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Bai Ma Chi Lin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress—met with representatives of the award recipients. Wan Lijun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Cheng Xueyuan, Party Leadership Group Member and Vice Chairman; and Lian Xiaomin, Party Leadership Group Member and Vice Chairman candidate, also attended the event. During the ceremony, the Federation announced the winners of the 9th “Contribution Award for the Chinese Diaspora”, recognizing 128 individuals for their outstanding contributions to China. Among them, 56 received First Prize, including Dr. Qiao Ying, one of the founding members of APAC Pharmaceuticals (HK) Co., Ltd.
